Do you carry XYZ item in your inventory?
It’s possible! We have more than 300 types of items in the inventory across a variety of categories. Take a look at our inventory list to review what we have in stock.
Do you offer delivery?
We offer two types of delivery services.
- Neighborhood Tool Hubs
- We have seven drop off and pick up locations in several counties. There are no additional service fees to drop off or pick up orders through these 24/7 hubs, but there are policies on how to use them. - Direct Delivery
- We offer direct delivery services with our trucks (one box truck and one pickup) for a small fee. Visit the Direct Tool Delivery page to read the policies and learn how it works.
What are your hours?
We have an APPOINTMENT ONLY policy during working hours for all warehouse visits (i.e. order pickup or drop off, warehouse tours, meetings, etc.). This policy is in place to ensure everyone receives equal treatment and our staff is able to handle our workload appropriately. We are open…
- Monday through Friday:: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Saturday through Sunday: CLOSED
These hours are subject to change at the discretion of Houston ToolBank staff and in the case of disaster events.
How can I become a member OR how do I check if my organization has an account?
If you are a tax exempt or nonprofit organization, you are eligible to become a member and borrow from our inventory. Submit a quick, free, online application HERE. If you would like to check whether your organization already has a membership, please submit the contact form below.
I can’t find where to log in to place orders OR I am having issues logging in OR I need to reset my password.
Once your membership is active, you will get access to our online portal called TOM (“Tool Order Management”), where you can place order requests.
- PLEASE NOTE: Your username will be the email address attached to your account PLUS “.tb” at the very end.
- E.g.: Your email is “awesome.organization@domain.org”. When you log in to TOM, enter “awesome.organization@domain.org.tb” into the username field.
- If you need to reset your password, let us know so that we can do it for you. Please make sure to check your Spam or Junk folder for the reset password instructions.
