Is delivery free?

Deliveries to our Neighborhood Tool Hubs are free! There are costs associated with direct deliveries, so please review the full fee schedule Please note that other program fees may apply.

How do I pay for my delivery?
What if I have to cancel my order?
What if I need to postpone my order for a few days?
What if I am late to meet you for my direct delivery or pickup?

If you miss your appointment and are in contact with the Houston ToolBank team, we will try to accommodate schedule changes, if possible, but a missed delivery fee will apply.

If you miss your appointment with no communication with the Houston ToolBank team, we will wait 15 minutes from the time of your scheduled appointment. After 15 minutes, if we have not heard from you:

  • For deliveries, we will leave, and your order will be canceled. Your organization will be charged the full delivery fee plus the missed delivery fee. If your order is needed at a later time, you will need to submit an additional request in TOM, and we cannot guarantee availability of tools and delivery services for the second request.
  • For pickups, if the order is left alone, missing, or otherwise inaccessible to our driver, your organization will be charged the pickup fee, plus the missed delivery fee, plus any related fees for missing, lost, damaged, or dirty tools.
What if I decide at the last minute I want my tools delivered?
Can I schedule a direct delivery and pickup on the same day?
What if I want an order delivered, but have someone who can bring it back to ToolBank?
